Career data updated last on 10/15/2014
Massage Therapist Massage therapists use massage to restore normal muscle tone, reduce stress, and increase a sense of well-being in their clients. Therapists learn how to improve clients' circulation and to soothe or stimulate the nervous system. Modalities that the therapists use include heat, oil, herbal preparations, and hydrotherapy.
